Up to three 16 - 17 year olds are awarded for their innovative solutions using chemistry to create a positive impact within their communities.
Our awards programme recognises and celebrates excellence within chemistry and related sciences.
Through its programme of awards, the Salters’ Institute champions students, educators and future leaders who are making a positive difference in and with chemistry and chemical engineering.
The awards are presented annually at the Salters’ Institute Awards Ceremony to recognise the achievement of all those in education and industry who are promoting Chemistry for Good.

The Awards for Year 12s are for those studying any chemistry course. The Awards for Year 13s are specifically aimed at those studying Salters' A Levels in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
The Porter Prize funds a summer research project with a strong chemistry focus proposed by a 1st or 2nd year undergraduate in the UK.
Graduate Awards are for final-year undergraduate students studying chemistry and chemical engineering across the UK.
Salters' Centenary Awards are for chemists and chemical engineers in the early stages of their careers in industry.
The Salters’ Institute Technician Awards are for secondary school science technicians.
A Level Awards have been awarded to the top students studying Salters' Chemistry, Biology and Physics curriculums since they launched in 1995.
Graduate Awards have been awarded to exceptional final-year undergraduates studying chemistry or chemical engineering since 1990.
Technician Awards have been awarded to individuals or teams who have made a large impact on their students and schools since they launched in 2002.
Every year we celebrate all of our award winners at Salters' Hall based in the heart of the City of London.
