Technician Awards
Technician Awards are for secondary school science technicians.
Graduate Awards are for final-year undergraduate students studying chemistry and chemical engineering across the UK.
Our Graduate Awards celebrate candidates that demonstrate the passion, skills and motivation to lead and shape the UK chemical or related sectors. Applications are now open for 2025!
For University Heads of Departments and Schools: Please note, if you have a strong candidate who may not achieve a First-Class Honours but shows the ability to meet the above criteria, please contact us to discuss your potential nomination at [email protected].
Salters’ Graduate Awards 2025 are now open for applications. The deadline for applications to the Salters’ Institute is Friday 23rd May 2025.
The Heads of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Departments at UK universities may nominate one candidate. This means there can be two nominations in total per university – one for Chemistry and one for Chemical Engineering. It is therefore advised that universities undergo their own selection procedure before nominating a candidate for the Salters’ Graduate Award.
Candidates should complete the application form (Section A) which must be supported by a reference from the Head of Department (Section B) and pay special attention to the criteria listed above. Candidates must also submit a C.V. with their application. Please email application forms to [email protected].
Section A – Application Form to be completed by Candidate
Section B – Statement of Support to be completed by Nominator (Head of Department)
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the Salters’ Hall for interview by a range of panellists from industry in July 2025.
