The Great Green Growing Challenge

It’s a new year and a new start. So this is the perfect month to investigate the germination process in creating new plant life!

This experiment will see you use simple kitchen staples such as hard-boiled eggs, banana skins and cress as you explore what plants need to help them grow. You will discover the power of fertiliser and even make your own, observing how it can be used in speeding up the process of growing plants.
