Annual Awards Ceremony 2025
In December we welcomed all of the Salters’ Institute’s 2025 Award Winners to Salters’ Hall to celebrate their achievements.
On a cold December morning in the City of London, the Salters’ Institute staff were laying out certificates and piling up brochures eagerly awaiting the arrival of some very special guests. The date was 5th December, the venue was Salters’ Hall, the highly anticipated guests were this year’s deserved Award Winners, and the event was the highlight of the Salters’ Institutes’ calendar: the Annual Awards Ceremony.
That’s right, on Friday 5th December the Salters’ Institute invited our 2025 Award Winners to join us for a celebration of their achievements and to recognise the hard work and dedication that led them to receive an award.
We were delighted to welcome all 28 Award Winners to the ceremony to honour their accomplishment in receiving an award in one of the following categories:
- Salters Horners Advanced Physics A Level
- Salters’ Advanced Chemistry A Level
- Salters-Nuffield Advanced Biology A Level
- Graduate Award in Chemistry
- Graduate Award in Chemical Engineering
- Technician Award
- Porter Prize Winner
We were also able to welcome Award Winners’ nearest and dearest and their academic supporters to join in the celebrations. Lastly, making the day complete, were panellists from this year’s awards cycle and other supporters and collaborators of our awards; all of whom are invaluable to our Awards Programme.
We were honoured to have as our guest speaker, Elish Chambers from GSK. She provided a truly inspirational talk which really set the tone of the event and was thoroughly enjoyed by all those present. Elish was the recipient of one of our Graduate Awards in 2023, so this year’s Award Winners were able to see first-hand how our previous Award Winners excel in their careers and the impact they have in their chosen path.
The event culminated in lunch and networking which enabled our Award Winners to chat to each other, as well as our award panellists & presenters and Salters’ Company members. The energy in the room was great, and we hope this year’s Award Winners made useful connections and were further inspired and encouraged for their future studies and careers.
We hope all our guests, and especially our 2025 Award Winners, enjoyed the day as much as we enjoyed celebrating this year’s winners’ achievements.
